“Unfortunately it was cool and rainy during our stay so we didn’t get to use the waterfront but we did enjoy a delicious dinner in the dining room. They had lots of board games available and the room was very comfortable with good internet and lots of tv channels for entertainment.”

“The room was serviceable and reasonably clean. To me it seemed expensive for what it was, but maybe that's the market for the area. The host was a little difficult to track down upon arrival as there is no clear office, but it worked out fine so I don't have any complaints,”

“Recently stayed here Aug. 14-16. Check in was seamless. A pair of chocolate truffles welcomed us on arrival with a hand written note saying as much. The mattress was firm and in excellent condition, the room was fully pre-stocked stocked with crisp, fresh linens and a mini fridge with several non-alcoholic drinks at no extra charge, coffee pods and a coffee maker. “very steep stairs leading to rooms. Property is showing signs of wear and tear. We received emails regarding questions of access and connection to after-hours staff after we left!!! The room was clean and well stocked but showed its age. there is a much better option 10 minutes up the road for almost half the price. There are no extra amenities to speak of . Basically, there are only 2 options within the village and thus, this one is overpriced. Stay in Haliburton or Bracebridge instead.”

“Traffic on highway 35 was dangerous and loud at times. Cabins were clean and well kept. Staff responded quickly to a minor problem to a window when we reported it.”

“Our room was pretty basic. No balcony, no view. We were disappointed because the pictures were misleading. The air conditioner was noisy and we couldn't turn it down, so we just turned it off. There was an unpleasant smell after flushing the toilet,so we kept the bathroom fan running and the door closed. They advertised a "beach" but they have a different definition of beach than I do. “Exactly what we were looking for. Very clean, exactly as described with everything you need for basic amenities. Washrooms are outside of the cottage, but not what you’d expect. They’re so clean and cute! Amazing host - Communication great and easy of access into property was perfect. We took bikes so we could ride around and found a nice park close by to tour around.
